Kelverstone was established to solve a specific problem: institutions in The Gambia and West Africa buying complex equipment, facilities and systems from suppliers who are accountable for only one part of the chain. The specification is written by one party, the goods are sold by another, cleared by a third and installed by a fourth — and when the result does not work, no one is responsible.

Kelverstone takes responsibility for the whole chain. Governance, specification, commercial management and international procurement are run from London. Coordination, logistics, implementation, training and support are delivered in The Gambia. One contract connects them.

Kelverstone is deliberately senior-led. The people who scope a project and write the submission are the people accountable for delivering it. We take on fewer projects than a larger firm would, and we say early when a requirement is outside what we can deliver well.
